May 29 Update

Features

Rise of Dragons
Take control of a Dragon and rain fire on your enemies in Kingdom Maker’s new three month season of Battle Passes and events. Level your Dragon, capture a hoard of treasure, and dominate the battlefield like never before: from the sky!

Details to come when Dragons arrive on May 30

Rise of Dragons: Part One
The first Battle Pass in the three-month Rise of Dragons season begins tomorrow.
    • Rise of Dragons: Part One offers a unique opportunity to earn Milestone rewards to level up your Dragon fast. Seize the day, earn Dragon XP and Dragonstone, and control the skies.
    • Existing players Keep Level 7+ have been granted an upgraded Dragon Lair. Beginning tomorrow, receive a Dragon Egg and Lair Key from the Rise of Dragons: Part One Battle Pass to hatch your Dragon! It will be possible to interact with the Dragon Lair after Rise of Dragons begins.
    • The Rise of Dragons: Battle Pass is the way to earn a Lair Key and hatch your Dragon Egg until it ends. Premium passes offer a Lair Key in earlier milestones, so don’t miss the opportunity to get a head start leveling up your Dragon.
Torture – This new Noble Action replaces Execute, which has been permanently removed.
    • Torturing a Noble applies the Tortured debuff to the unfortunate victim, then releases them from capture. While the Nobles live to fight another day, Torture applies some penalties. Tortured Nobles can’t:
    • Leave the Keep to lead Armies, explore Dungeons, Trade, visit other Keeps, etc.
    • Boost or Guard a room
    • Boink or be Boinked
    • Be Captured (this prevents getting Tortured again right away)

General

  • Rapid Strike targets award Dragon XP, and replace NPC Camps on the world map. All Camp associated Quests, Events, and Daily Goals have been updated accordingly.
  • Rewards that were previously available from Camps have been redistributed to other targets. Additionally, Forts have been moved to the appropriate biomes for their faction.
  • Suspiciously Good Research offers are now available in their own menu on the Webstore.
  • Resolved an issue where the 'Collect' button on certain Tavern Quests could not be tapped to get rewards and progress further.
