January 4 Update

General

  • Progression costs are now aligned for all Noble Roles.
    • Tier 1 and Tier 2 non-Combat Role upgrade costs have been reduced to be consistent with those of Combat Roles. 
      • Costs for Combat Roles were previously updated to provide smoother power progression, making it less expensive to progress through Tier 1 and 2 of Combat Roles, while moving the balance into Tier 3 upgrade costs. As Tier 3 does not yet exist for non-Combat Roles, this update will represent a general reduction of upgrade costs for those Roles.
    • Talent Ranks : Talents now better match their associated costs within a given Rank. This means that the value and power of a Talent will feel more consistent with its upgrade cost.
    • Resource Costs : The costs for Rank promotion and Tier advancement now include gems to remain consistent with combat Noble costs.
    • Balanced Output : While the overall costs (the total expenditure from base to the highest upgrade) remain consistent, we rebalanced these costs level by level to better match the output from the Refinery.
  • Gold costs have been reduced for Temple materials (bricks, blocks, and slabs) to better align with their resource and time costs.
