November 15 Update

General

  • Plague is a powerful weapon in an Alliance's arsenal, but it has an outsized impact on how its targets experience Kingdom Maker. To better reflect its effect on gameplay, the Plague spell’s cost has been increased. We will continue monitoring its use to determine if further adjustments are required.
  • Metal and Mineral trade-down Trades are now available at Trading Posts, making it possible to trade higher tier metals and minerals for their lower tier counterparts. These trades are only available for common and uncommon resources, and only allow trades within the same resource type.
  • For example: Uncommon Steel can be traded for Uncommon Iron, Common Steel can be traded for Common Iron, and Uncommon Mercury can be traded to Uncommon Sulphur etc.

Berserker Battle Pass

  • The Berserker Battle Pass begins November 17! Earn an all-new Champion, Grummok the Berserker, new Battalion Equipment, and much more before it ends on December 10 at 19:00 UTC.
  • Full details about the Berserker Battle Pass are coming soon.

Harvest Faire

  • Kingdom Maker’s Harvest Faire celebration returns for an annual celebration of friendship, feasting, and generosity!
  • Work together with your fellow players beginning November 17 at 19:00 UTC to November 19 at 19:00 UTC to Prepare for the Faire and earn the Harvest Scythe Noble Equipment.
  • The grand festivities kick-off with a slew of Harvest Faire main events that run from November 22 at 19:00 UTC to November 27 at 19:00 UTC, bringing players together to celebrate, feast, and be merry.
  • The Harvest Faire event will also feature time-limited quest content, only available during the celebration!
  • Full details about the Harvest Faire are coming soon.

New Hill Giant Boss

  • A massive new Hill Giant Boss, Bulom the Stonecrusher, has emerged in Ardendale!
  • Take on Bulom beginning November 17 to earn three new pieces of Battalion Equipment: Molten Axe, Dragonbone Studded Leather, and the Dragonbone Shield.

Noble Power Expansion

  • Noble Power is now calculated utilizing the Noble’s quality, Role tier, talents, talent rank, level, and trait set. Previously, a Noble’s power was primarily based on talent rank. This new calculation better conveys the power of Nobles as they are upgraded and customized.
  • As a result, overall Power should increase for most players, but Nobles and their functions have not changed in any way as a result of this update. It’s just easier to get a sense of how much one’s Noble family is contributing to overall Power now.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue with the crafting quest, Heavy Industry. It now only counts Iron Shields equipped to Armies.
  • It’s now possible to make progress on Cobalt Broadsword plans at the Blacksmith by defeating level 38 Graveborn Forts.
  • Reinforcing a PvP attack now correctly removes the smoke / burning effect on your city.
