August 31 2022 Update

Updates:

  • Chat Translation
    • Tap on the translate icon below any Global, Alliance, or Private chat to translate the message into your preferred language. Set your preferred chat language in the Settings menu.

  • When choosing an Army to send to a mine, players can now choose from Armies in the City and staged Armies in the field.

  • Resource cities (Bedrock, Farmington, and Woodside) now provide better resource buffs when occupied.

  • Updated Machine models to improve visibility on Platforms and the battlefield.

  • New loading screen hourglass.

Bug Fixes:

  • The stats on your profile page now display correctly.

  • Mining rate research now correctly improves the mining rate.

  • Royal Monuments can now be explored by appropriate level Nobles.

  • Additional bug fixes were applied but not listed due to volume.

Under Investigation:

  • Sleeping mine animation missing.

  • Some Wandering Merchant Trades are still reduced in value.

Note on The Wandering Merchant:

Your feedback is important to us. It’s clear that there is emergent gameplay surrounding the Wandering Merchant and that many of you have invested time into understanding and optimizing its use. While it wasn’t intended mechanically, the reaction from the community has inspired us on ways to integrate upcoming changes into the game’s economy without causing unhealthy economic drivers.

It was our intention with this update to address a concern with the Wandering Merchant. However, a bug made the payout significantly affect the fix intended, and we quickly reverted the change.
