Titans are an all-new unit type in Kingdom Maker that combine the immense power of Dragons with the battlefield impact of Champions. Armed with unique active and passive abilities, they’ll transform how you fight battles and defend your keep. Not only do they play a key role in our first ever Featured Event: Fury of the Doomfang, but Titans will be invaluable against new, upcoming enemies and rival players alike!
Frost Giant Titan
The first Titan you can unlock are Frost Giants. These undead behemoths hail from the Bleakfrost, and use magical cannons to hurl icy boulders that shatter enemy battalions. Just like Epic Champions, they have passive and active abilities. The Frost Giant’s passive ability is Chilling Strikes. Each attack has a chance to slow enemy movement and make them vulnerable to the Ice Tomb active ability that inflicts bonus damage and literally freezes enemies in their tracks.
Each Titan is paired with a specific Titan Champion that have abilities that enhance the Titans they command. Frost Giants are paired with Valdora Ragefrost. Her Chilling Barrage applies the Chilled effect–just like the Frost Giant’s Chilling Strikes–so they combine to increase the chance of a devastating Ice Tomb.
Train your Titan units in the Hall of Titans. Each Hall of Titans upgrade increases the health of all Titans garrisoned on city platforms and improves the number of Titans that are trained at once.
Featured Event: Fury of the Doomfang
Unlock Titans and earn a trove of other awesome rewards in all-new Featured Events. Each Featured Event pits you against a sub-faction who you’ll battle to earn Event Tokens. Redeem your tokens in the Featured Event Store for unique gear including Noble weapons and Army Banners, shards for Titan Champions, Titan battalion equipment, and, of course, Titan unlocks!
Our first featured event, Fury of the Doomfang, starts August 23 at 16:00 UTC and ends August 26 at 16:00 UTC. Doomfang orcs have invaded the Noble lands of Ardendale. Destroy the forts they’ve built and drive the orcs back, but watch out: the Doomfang Orcs are much tougher than their Cinderbone counterparts.
The Fury of the Doomfang Featured Event Store offers an armory of rewards. Give your whole army bonus damage versus the Doomfang orcs with the Ragefrost Devastator Noble weapon and Doomfang Banner. Collect shards for Rare and Epic versions of Champion Valdora. Unlock your Frost Giant Titan, and gear up with Battalion equipment like the Icy Obliterator and Mammoth Hide Armor.
When fully equipped, you’re sure to excel in Featured Events, and you’ll be prepared to deal with any continued threat from the Doomfang even after the event is over.
The Featured Event Store will remain open for a short time after the event ends, so don’t delay - spend your hard-earned Event Tokens before they automatically convert to Titan Equipment XP.
